Phlebotomy Aide

Phlebotomy is the practice of drawing blood from patients and taking the blood specimens to the laboratory to prepare for testing. As a phlebotomy technician you are an important member of the clinical laboratory team. New diagnostic techniques, clinical laboratory technology, and automated instruments have greatly increased the volume of and demand for medical laboratory testing. The Phlebotomy Course is taught in a friendly, low-stress environment where you will have the opportunity to interact with helpful and professional staff. The Instructors are very knowledgeable about and familiar with the teaching material.

The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment as phlebotomists & healthcare support workers. This program is a planned sequence of instruction consisting of 2 occupational completion points. The length of the program is 165 hours. Upon completion of the program, the instructor will provide a certificate to the student verifying that all requirements have been met.
